ElderWatch Plus offers adult participants a variety of activities every day in a safe and nurturing environment. These activities are designed with the interests and abilities of each participant in mind. ElderWatch Plus is a non-profit agency providing day service programs for adults with special needs due to physical disability, cognitive loss, or medical frailty. We care for our participants with the dignity and respect they so richly deserve. ElderWatch Plus provides services without regard for race, sex, religion, orientation, handicap or ability to pay.

Participants in Adult Day Services are:

  • Adults who should not be home alone during the day.
  • Adults who due to physical or cognitive change need help with "personal care " and activities of daily living (ADL's).
  • Adults with medical problems who need their status, medications and diet monitored during the day.
  • Adults who and are seeking a socially stimulating nurturing atmosphere, in an emotionally and physically safe environment.
  • Adults whose caregivers need respite from the demands of providing 24 hour-per-day care,
  • Adults who, due to dementia or physical challenges, are lonely, frightened, frustrated or at risk for falling or wandering during the day.
  

Members of the P.L.U.S. Club are adults with memory change or early stage memory loss:

  • who wish to be proactive in their approach to these changes.
  • who are seeking a cognitive stimulation program and physical exercise, in order to enhance memory skills.
  • who recognize the value in learning different leisure skills to enable them to remain socially engaged with their peers and community.
  • who are seeking a support system to share concerns, participate in problem-solving and want tools to plan for the future.
  • who can actively participate in the decision making process.
  • who are younger than 60 years old diagnosed with Early Onset Dementia.
